I’ve just been featured in Tiroler Tageszeitung Magazine about Formen in Weiß: Vergängliche Meisterwerke zieren die Pisten in Ischgl and you can see the article here https://www.tt.com/artikel/30810640/formen-in-weiss-vergaengliche-meisterwerke-zieren-die-pisten-in-ischgl
The "Formen in Weiß" snow sculpture competition in Ischgl is a spectacular annual event where international artists transform the snowy slopes into a mesmerizing open-air gallery. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, the competition features the theme "LEGO," with artists creating impressive LEGO-inspired sculptures. From January 8 to 12, visitors can witness these stunning creations, which include standout pieces like the LEGO Shark and the award-winning LEGO Castle, reaching up to seven meters in height.
Held in the Silvretta Arena, this event allows visitors to enjoy the unique combination of art and winter sports. With perfect snow conditions, these sculptures offer a lasting visual treat throughout the season. This event not only showcases artistic talent but also celebrates the long-standing tradition of snow art in Ischgl, making it a must-see for both art lovers and winter sports enthusiasts (Ischgl Adventure) (Schneehöhen) (Schneehöhen).
