We are currently living through ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ, ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฆ and ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ times. Maybe also ๐ญ๐ช๐ง๐ฆ-๐ค๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ, ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ต and ๐ง๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ข๐ญ times that are shaping our future. Possibly these will be ๐ฆ๐น๐ค๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ time…
The thing is with all the changes, challenges and uncertainty, it is not hard to find behind the pleasantry “๐’๐บ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ” to the “how are you?” question, that the reality is far from that reply. Is “๐’๐บ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ” really saying “๐’๐ฎ ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ” or is it saying something else?
Many people, organisation and nations are now suffering from Pandemic fatigue. And as documented and described previously as the mental health effects of crisis management in major disasters you’ll probably recognise some of the emotional stages that we’ve all been through.
♦ The heroic phase as people chip in and help out. The immediate shows of support of one another.
♦ The honeymoon phase trying to solve the problems that are presented.
♦ And now as many see it, the disillusionment phase. Where some will start to look inwards only and blame is assigned. As delays, issues and other factors take their toll.
Though time will come when we move to the final phase of reconstruction. Pulling together to get things done, not with unbridled optimism and overconfidence, with compassion, temperance and measured optimism. Just like with any transformation seeing small wins, turn into medium-sized wins that turn into big wins over time.

Keep rest and recovery periods sacred. Ask for help. After all we are social animals and are not supposed to do everything alone.

They say that a problem shared is a problem halved, and in sharing the problem you help to process it at the same time. You never know, you may even come up with an answer, albeit don’t be surprised if there isn’t one to everything. Built-up stress increases the catabolic effects on your body and will cut years off your life. Sometimes there are things you cannot affect right now, right here.
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต! Peoples worlds are getting smaller as for many a trip to the local supermarket may be the longest journey they do! It can be too easy to barricade yourself inside binge-watching a box set while eating calorie-dense food, coffee and other substances. Remember that movement is medicine for your mind, body and soul. Get up often and walk around. Go outside and stretch your horizon. Bring fresh air into your home. Exercise and eat well.

Enjoy the reading, dog walking, playing music, chatting on the phone with friends or just sitting crossed legged listening to the cosmos, just do this for you!

Or perhaps what you want to achieve in the months and years to come.You may not be able to control every situation and its outcome, but you can control your attitude and how you deal with it.
