York-based fitness coach Martin Sharp and his friend Justin Scott, a trained sculptor from Driffield, are set to create a giant snow sculpture in the shape of a sailing boat named "Unsinkable 2." The duo will be competing in the 29th international snow sculpture competition, Shapes in White, held in the Silvretta Arena, Ischgl, Austria from January 8 to 14. This prestigious event attracts sculptors from around the globe who transform massive blocks of snow into stunning works of art using only hand tools and water.
Their participation highlights the diverse talents of these two individuals—Sharp, known for his fitness and business consultancy, and Scott, with his background in tree surgery and sculpture. This collaboration not only underscores their artistic skills but also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and creativity in achieving remarkable results.
This venture into snow sculpting aligns with their personal and professional pursuits, showcasing how diverse experiences and skills can come together to create something extraordinary. For busy professionals and entrepreneurs, their journey serves as an inspiration, demonstrating that passion and collaboration can lead to unique and impactful outcomes in any fieldโ.
