Martin Sharp has just been featured in The Ely Echo! Just when you thought Martin Sharp’s adventures couldn’t get any more epic, he lands a podium finish at Ely’s Great Nordic Beardfest! Fresh from sculpting ghostly masterpieces in the snow at the Ely Winter Festival 2025, Martin decided to test his talents in another highly prestigious (okay, mostly for fun) competition of beard styling.
Competing in the Freestyle Beard category, Martin showcased his facial finesse and took home third place—proving that whether it’s sculpting snow or sculpting the perfect beard, he’s got it covered.
The Beardfest, which made a glorious return after a two-year break, saw competitors from across the U.S.A. (and even England, thanks to Martin) competing for bearded bragging rights. With kazoos and costumes, it was all about fun facial hair.
So, what’s next for Martin? Olympic-level moustache twirling? A world tour of snow and stubble? One thing’s for sure, whether it’s fitness coaching, snow sculpting, or now beard styling, he’s always up for a challenge.
