Milton Keynes Marathon 2026

What a day at the Milton Keynes Marathon! This was my 10th marathon and my second time taking on MK… starting and finishing at Stadium MK, running two loops around the city, and sharing the experience with some incredible people along the way. The goal was simple heading into this one with Gabe… enjoy it, finish it, and stay injury-free. We weren’t chasing a perfect time, just a great experience. And that’s exactly what we got.

Conditions were spot on… overcast, cool, ideal for running. But what really made the day was the people. From the organisers and marshals to the volunteers and the amazing crowds cheering us on, the support throughout the course was something else. We crossed the line in around 5 hours 37 minutes… faster than last year, but more importantly, we enjoyed every step of the journey.

Some standout moments:

- Sarah completed her first-ever half-marathon

- Gabe finished strong after being in hospital just days before

- Meeting so many inspiring runners, pushing themselves in their own way

- Three medals across the weekend
